What doccuments do I need to drive in St. Lucia?

You will require a valid driver’s license in order to obtain a local driver’s permit, or you can bring with you your international driver’s permit if you have one.

What do I need to bring when I collect my hire vehicle?

Your driver’s license, and it would be wise to provide a screenshot of the confirmation that you received.

How do I cancel or modify a booking?

You can email us directly to have the modifications made, or the booking cancelled.

If I have an international driver’s permit, do I still need the local permit?

No. The international driver’s permit would suffice.

How old do I need to be to hire a car?

Insurance regulations stipulate that all drivers need to be 25 years or older in order to qualify for a rental car.

My driver's license is expired this year, can I still rent?

As long as it is valid during the length of your car rental period, you can still hire a rental car.

Can I bring the car back early?

Yes. You can inform us of the change in time and place and a rep will meet with you.

Can I extend my rental?

A rental extension is no problem. However, during the busy season, it is less than likely that it will be possible.

I’m going to return my hire car later than agreed. Is this OK?

Yes. However, we need to be informed prior to the scheduled time. A late fee is attached for every 30minutes of passed.

Can I return my hire car outside office hours?

Yes. You can email, call or whatsapp us and the rep will meet with you at your desired location.

I have a complaint about your service. How do I tell you about it?

We take our client complaints very seriously. You can send an email to info@Saintluciarentals.com and we will look into your complaint.

I left something in my hire car. Do you have a lost property service I can contact?

You can send us a whatsapp message or give us a call and we will find a way to return your property to you.

I am 75 years old, can I still rent a car?

Yes, you can. A letter from a medical doctor needs to be provided for all clients over the age of 65 years, to indicate that no health issues are hindering their ability to drive.

Are rental cars safe during Covid?

Yes, they are. All vehicles are deep cleaned before each rental and a rental car offers you your own space away from everyone else when travelling outside your accommodation.
